The watch that resurrected.

I bought this watch a month ago in Nice. It didn't work, but I just liked the way it looked and wanted to wear it as jewelry.
I have been wearing it in a chain around my neck almost every day since then.
In four weeks it moved exactly twenty four hours forward. Quite mysterious.
Then all of a sudden, on midsummer's eve it started to tick. Really loud too.
And the mechanism to wind it up was working again!

A midsummer miracle! 

And four days later it's still going strong. I'm quite happy.

Photoshoot

Today I took about 950 pictures of my old classmate Erik Josefssons amazing clothes. The model was my beautiful friend Fia.We went to this rough part of the city that I really like for photoshoots. The weather was crazy and changed from bright sun to rain and from cold to really hot in seconds.
I think the result is really nice, or what do you think?  Heres a little preview.

Fresh Fish.

This weekend I was a part of the big fashion fair and competition  Fresh Fish. It was a really great experience and even though I didn't win it felt rewarding.

I love meeting customers and it feels great to be able to explain the meaning behind every piece of jewelry. I met lots of new friends and for the first time I got to see my jewelry on the catwalk!

Days.

Just a couple of pictures from the last two weeks. Birthday picnic for a friend, I bought a new hat, we went  for lovely walks and drank tea in my kitchen.

The park around the corner.

I found the perfect stub for jewelry photos! I was feeling a bit down yesterday and went for a stroll with my camera. Taking pictures always make me happy. The lovely light in the park helped a lot too.

Magnolia dreams

Gosh, how I love magnolia!
I have loved it since I was a little girl and my late grandma used a pefume with the name Magnolia. When she died I got the bottle and I used to open it and smell, but never use it because I didn't want it to run out. I've been searching for that perfume ever since, but no luck yet.
Anyway, magnolia trees are special to me. I dream of having a big garden with lots of different kinds of magnolia. Dark purple or the softest of pink. Just laying underneath them while they bloom. I could disappear in the beauty!

Small treasures in my window.

Things I have found on flea markets, at the beach, on the ground, in shops long ago or got in present from loved ones. The silver plate is from a second hand shop and the wood plate is made by my uncle when he was a little boy. They lie there in my window behind me and make me happy every time I see them.

Beauty as I know it. Part two.

Today I threw away the dying tulips from my kitchen table, but before I could do that I had to phograph them because they were so beautiful.
Fresh tulips is one thing; so crisp and vibrant. But in that moment when they have passed the fresh stage they look so dramatic!
They go through a metamorphosis and become something else entirely.
To me that's the most interesting part. Of course, I love tulips when they are alive (and kicking?), that's why I buy them in the first place, but there's beauty in the transition too.
Sometimes I think people are too fast to throw away without seeing the beauty in the change.
This is how I see it. This is beauty to me.

Four dimensions

My Four dimensions pendant looks different in every angle. And the bead in the red, lime and purple one is loose and can be moved around! Combining beauty and play in one sculptural piece of jewelry.
